Arts Project Coordination/Producing
Over the last five years I’ve worked across theatres and arts organisations in Greater Manchester including Oldham Coliseum, Oldham Library, The Horsfall and Contact Theatre both as an employee and in a freelance capacity. Over this time, I’ve worked on a huge number of projects and shows, I have experience of casting, production administration, project coordination, programme support, session facilitation and more. I’m motivated by new ways of presenting work and how we communicate our stories to others. I’m really proud of co-producing Cultivate Festival 2019 at Oldham Coliseum, working with the brilliant team there to create an exciting and accessible festival.

Artist Development
I’m really dedicated to working with artists, supporting them to access the channels they need to progress their work, providing guidance and learning opportunities. I am driven to removing barriers to arts engagement and work particularly closely with artists who face these.

In 2017 I set up the Drawn Poorly project, proving a platform and safe space for creatives living with chronic illness, disability and mental health conditions. Through social media, a performance night and five zines, Drawn Poorly has championed the work of 72 different artists from the UK and beyond. The project was supported by Contact Theatre’s Future Fires programme in 2017 and received funding and development. In 2019, I delivered a series of workshops at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival called Let’s Make Sick Art, which worked with artists to find different ways to provide access in the arts.
